Rescue Story
Hailey was found tied to a pole on the street and brought to the high kill shelter. Our partner rescuer rescued her, spayed her, and made sure she was vaccinated.
About Him/Her/
Let’s put ourselves in her paws. We don’t know who left her, but Hailey was brought to a strange place and tied to a pole without water or food. We don’t know how many hours or days she was left there until she was brought to the high kill shelter. Can you imagine how scary that must have been?
Thankfully, she is still a puppy which means she didn’t experience a hard life for too long. She’s been socializing with many people and other dogs since she was rescued. But still, she is timid with new people and scared of noises, just like other rescue dogs. The adopter should work with her to grow her confidence and teach her the world isn’t dangerous for her any longer. She also needs to learn how to walk with a leash. She is scared outside, but with a regular walk routine she will learn quickly because she’s a smart puppy.
She is an energetic girl who does zoomies inside the house. She is also loving and affectionate to her human. She doesn’t bark, and she greets any guests who visit the foster family. She loves playing tug-o-war and playing with a ball and chewing toys. She is not a brave girl outside but she is learning quickly. She learned commands “sit”, “down”, and “turn” very quickly. She will absorb whatever you teach.
We are looking for a good leader who can teach her the outside world is safe for her. She is in foster home in Korea as of August. We are looking for an adopter or foster-to-adopt.
