Hamilton (Hammie) is a sweet little chihuahua mix puppy. He was born around mid May 2023 and is currently 10 lbs.

His new home wish list:

1. Secure yard/no apartments
2. Dog savvy/respectful children over 10 or adult only home
3. Friendly, playful, young companion dog
4. Continued training is recommended
5. Local within 25 miles of Roseville/Rocklin area

Hammie is affectionate, playful and smart. He loves playing with other dogs of all sizes and will happily romp around playing chase and wrestle with them. He enjoys his stuffed toys and likes to chase a ball or toy.
Hammie has begun house training but will require continued house training in a new home. He currently lives with several dogs of all sizes and ages and he gets along well with them. He currently lives with dog savvy cats and is respectful with them; he might challenge shy kitties and chase if they run. Young children would likely overwhelm him so only dog savvy, respectful children over 10 are recommended. He is an alert barker and enjoys a yard to run in so no apartments for him.
Hammie would do well in a home with another young, playful dog to romp around with, help show him the ropes and keep him company while his humans are away from home. He has plenty of puppy energy so older dogs would likely get annoyed with him. He enjoys being with his people and desires to be a large part of their lives. He likely would not do well being left home alone daily for long hours. Hamilton is a little, spunky sweetheart who is waiting for his forever home.
