Here's what the humans have to say about me:
BESSIE IS MICROCHIPPED!
About me: This litter of Rat Terrier puppies came to us on the verge of death. The previous owner of this litter had tried to starve them to death, and when they didn't die fast enough, he turned them into the Humane Society to be put down. The puppies were extremely emaciated, dehydrated, anemic, and full of worms, but we believe that all dogs have the right to have a chance at survival, so we took them in. The first two days, they were not able to pass any sort of stool, but they passed handfulls of worms. We cared for them 24/7, pushing fluids in them, pulling worms out of their butts, bathing the filth off them, feeding them when they could finally eat, and worming them when they could handle the medication.
All of the puppies are finally doing better and are worm-free now. We will administer one more round of worm treatment after their bodies have had some more time to recuperate. Since there are 8 puppies, it would take a long time to explain all the personalities, but if you are interested in adopting one of them, please fill out an application, specifying what you are looking for in a puppy, and we will try to match you up with the perfect puppy.
