Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Newman and his sister MacLaine were living in a storm drain with their mother in a busy uptown area. For their safety, the family was trapped and brought to the City Pound. The kittens were fearful but Newman quickly realized that the volunteers were kind and he became very affectionate. He's not a big fan of being carried around and still retains some of the "flight" response he learned from his mother. We feel that a home with older children would be best. Newman and MacLaine do NOT like dogs and react very aggressively so their new home must not have dogs. He is playful, loves treats and is clean in his cage. Given time to adjust to his new home, he will settle in and be a prefect gentleman. He is quite fond of his cage mate/sibling so it is our hope to adopt them out together.
To meet this awesome duo, request an adoption application at mdowney@iowatelecom.net. Once the application is accepted, an appointment will be made to view the cats.
