I was out walking on a hot Summer day around noon. I just began my walk at Terry Hershey park when I noticed a little dog following me, panting, hot and nearly out of breath. I looked around and saw no one. He allowed me to pick him up. I brought him to my car turned the a.c on and gave him water. After 45 minutes of waiting for anyone that could possibly be his owner, I left. I brought him to my vet. They scanned him and we discovered he was chipped. I immediately contacted the chip company. They called the owner but there was no answer. It’s been almost two months and the owners have yet to reply, respond to phone calls, and emails. I have two other dogs and a cat. He gets along great with them. He’s leash trained, potty trained, crate trained. He cuddles, he’s my little shadow. I’m moving and unfortunately after much thought have decided I cannot keep him. I’ve tried social media, Co workers, any attempt for someone to adopt him. I do not want to bring him to a shelter. Please help.
