My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hailey came to the shelter March 2021 when she, along with about 40 other cats and kittens, were rescued from a severe hoarding situation.  She has come a long way since that day!

At first, Hailey was very confused, hiding and fearful of everyone and everything around her. With the perseverance and patience of volunteers, Hailey is now ready to find her forever home. She greets everyone who comes into her room, encouraging lots of scratches and pets. Hailey is not keen on being picked up, but would be a perfect couch companion!

Hailey is approximately 3 years old and would love to have a home of her own: A home where she will receive tons of love and be pampered fur-ever.

If you have room in your home and your heart for our girl, contact Lynn Hassett at 608-345-8713, email felinecaninefriends80@gmail.com, or contact us on Facebook (www.facebook.com/felinecaninefriendsinc).  As with all our feline friends, Hailey is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been spayed.

You must first fill out an adoption application. Please go to "Site Map" under the home tab and click on the "Forms and applications" tab to find an application. Allow 2-3 days for us to process your application A volunteer will contact you and arrange for you to meet the pet you have chosen to see if it is a good match. If all is well, you will sign an adoption contract, pay an adoption fee and you will have a new family member.

All cats are spayed and neutered as part of the adoption. They may be tested for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) for a fee of $15.

More about this rescue

Feline/Canine Friends (F/CF) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. F/CF rescues, rehabilitates, re-homes and provides sanctuary for many cats including special-needs cats. Many of our special needs cats have FIV or FeLV; plus we have many ferals who have been given a new home and a new life.

We are an all-volunteer group dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals and educating people on the importance of spaying and neutering to control the pet population.
