My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Candy was a new arrival to abandonment when we first saw her. She was confused and wandering in the rock pit lot, unaware of the life-threatening situation she was in. She also looked to be pregnant, so even if she managed avoid being hit by a truck, her puppies didn't stand a chance. We got her out of harms way and, while it was discovered she wasn't in fact pregnant, she did need attention and care, because she clearly had been neglected both physically and mentally.
Knowing she was safe and loved, Candy's sweet personality quickly blossomed.
Candy is shy, but once she gets to know you, she is a total cuddle bug. She loves people, does well with kids and is dog friendly. She likes to play, run and go for walks. Candy would thrive in a home, where she could settle in, and be comfortable in the security of knowing she is loved. She would no doubt be the most loyal, affectionate companion to the lucky person or family who welcomes her home.

Can't adopt, but would like to give Candy a home and family environment? Foster. https://redlandrockpit.org/foster-forms/

While Candy is good with other dogs, a meet and greet with current pets would be required.
