AXEL:
Tiger cub or brindle puppy?? Axel here will surely make you do a double-take. This handsome fellow is 12-13 weeks old, 23lbs and a mixed breed of Plott Hound/Labrador. His litter of five was rescued from Duplin County shelter and each puppy has a totally unique coat.
Axel is the big brother of litter. He is outgoing, curious and full of spunk. Axel has been nicknamed “parkour puppy” by his current foster family because he will spin in excited circles when running around the yard and on walks. He's very playful and has done great living at home with two big dogs (40lbs & 70lbs). Axel is a little LOVE BUG. He loves to be held, pet, kissed, snuggled and squeezed. He is known to sit at your feet, staring up at you with big eyes until picked up and given some love.

Axel and his brother (Atlas) are fully house-trained and are excelling at their crate training. They are still working on leash training and manners during mealtimes (jumping up). Very food driven so makes training easy!! They both do really well with kids of all ages. They have not spent time around cats yet, but are still so young they would likely do fine.
