My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Whimsy is a spunky 17lb, 2 1/2 year old little gal that is a Taiwanese mixed fluffy dog of some sort (My expert opinion ;). Most of these former street dogs are a breed mystery. She is happy, friendly , up-to-date on shots, spayed and micro-chipped. Whimsy is a bit of a fire cracker. She would be an amazing agility dog, you should see her literally sail over 4 foot baby gates and tightrope walk the back of the couch to get past the other dogs for a cuddle :). She needs some work on her confidence and needs lots of positive experiences with balanced dog friends, as she is frightened of dogs coming right at her, and cries out like they are attacking, even though they haven't touched her at all. Every trip to the dog park is making this reaction a little less and obedience and agility classes would definitely help!

She is a little shy with new folks, but if they offer a scratch behind those comicwhispy ears, she's your friend for life. She loves to snuggle and has chosen the prime spot to sleep..in bed under covers and between her foster parents... She has this quiet way of sneaking in while they are sleeping and then looking so sweet, that she gets to stay lol.

She has been in a shelter since a wee pup and 2 years is more than enough! Would you offer her love and a place to call home for the first time ever??
