Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Blue Jean is a little girl who was taken in from a TNR location where she was living in the woods along with her mother and a bunch of other kittens and cats. She had a rough start but cleaned up great and very quickly! She seems quite hearty and healthy although she is still quite shy and skittish! Although she is shy, Blue Jean will allow herself to be held, cuddled, kissed... the whole 9 yards! You have to be careful when holding her away from your body because it tends to freak her out a bit and she will try and scamper off at that point!
Blue Jean has some very unique markings, especially the distinctive black streak up her nose! So cute!!! "Is heaven any sweeter than Blue Jean?" "Blue Jean can send me!!!" Blue Jean has long hair and is expected to be ready to go to her new home on September 12th but no need to wait until then to apply! We would prefer to get a home lined up for her now! Blue Jean needs to go to a home that is calm, patient, and is able to spend as much time with her as possible to help her become comfortable with her life as an indoor kitten. It will be important for her new adopter to continue to socialize her and make her feel at home. Blue Jean is great with other cats and kittens and has been exposed to large cat-friendly dogs before. She is used to being around other cats and absolutely MUST go to a home with at least 1 other cat. Experience with skittish or feral cats would be a definite plus although not necessarily required. We are not recommending that this kitten go to a home with young children as she does need a calm home environment and has a greater potential to accidentally scratch. Blue Jean will have been spayed, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, flea treated, FIV/FeLV/HW tested negative, and microchipped upon her adoption! Interested adopters can submit an application by contacting HobosHome2020@yahoo.com or by sending us a message and we will send you the necessary form!
