My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nelson is a 6 yr old, male mixed breed that weighs around 13 pounds. His shelter paperwork shows Chihuahua/ Maltese mix but that's just a guess. He has lost so much. He was surrendered due to his first adopter becoming homeless. He lost his home, his owner & his best buddies (another chi & a cat) He is a happy playful boy unless you try to take away his food. He will growl. Maybe even nip. Due to his resource guarding, no young children. He has done well with other dogs & cats. His favorite pastime is running around the yard. He would LOVE a fenced yard so he can run freely. Nelson is being fostered in Harford county Md. Send us a message for more info. Thank you!
