Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Boots is looking for a long term foster home! 💕🏡😸 Do you have room in your home and heart for this gentle, lazy daisy dude?
Two year old Boots is a mild-mannered soul, he doesn't ask for much in order to be happy as a clam - Once you earn his trust, he's the kind of kitty who greets you with big head butts, big purrs, and great company. At night (or any time that you're relaxing really), Boots loves to lay right alongside your legs and lounge as you pet him.
Boots is quite the nature enthusiast who enjoys bird watching through the window, but he also loves to people watch too! If there's nothing interesting going on outside, then Boots is just as content to sleep in a big ray of sunshine on the couch or the floor 🌞 Boots has a very zen attitude about life, and spending time relaxing with this handsome tabby and listening to his big purring motor makes for the perfect peaceful afternoon.
When he's meeting new folks, Boots can be a little timid, but there isn't a mean bone in his love-filled body. He just needs a bit of time and patience to get his feet under him, and you'll earn Boots' trust and be best friends before you know it. His sweet face and endlessly loving personality are so worth the wait while he opens up to you.
Boots absolutely adores other cats and would have no complaints about being a big brother to other kitties, he has the ability to make fast friends with pretty much every feline he's met. He is gentle with kittens, and he feels a little braver when there's another cat to follow the lead of. Although he's never met, he would likely do well with calm, gentle children.
Boots is looking for a long term foster home rather than an adoptive home because he struggles with anemia and requires some extra care, and we would like to continue to support Boots' family as they take care of his needs. Boots receives daily medication, which he is a very good boy for, and we are hoping that with a foster family he will thrive with all that extra TLC he can soak up by your side. 🥰
As a long term foster family, we will cover the costs of all of Boots medical care and medicine, as well as provide all of the support you will need to help Boots live his very best life, while you will supply his food and litter - and of course tons of love for this snuggly boy.
