Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Penny. She is a purebred Chessie who loves to snuggle and just be with her people. She loves to play with balls and chase the squirrels. She can be anxious at times, fast moving things are not her favorite, a cal home would be the best for her!
We got Penny as a puppy, she is now 5 and lived most of her life with me, my husband, and our 13 year old part time. In the last year and a half we have added another human and Penny has really struggled to adjust, and does not like the baby/toddler age kids. She is great with older kids. The quick movements startle her. She can be protective and doesn’t like other animals in her space. We have done our best to work with a behavioral trainer, but nothing is getting better and she has been living in her kennel (when the baby is around), which she does not deserve.
This is heartbreaking for our family, but we know the great dog she is and she deserves a calmer environment and a less busy snuggle buddy! She truly is the best dog!
