Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Trisskit a believed to be a 5-year-old Chihuahua dachshund blend, weighing 16 pounds. An owner surrendered due to the family having a baby (No negativity please). They felt they could not make it work. She arrived a week ago today. While adjusting well, the transition has taken its time. She has gravitated to one of the other dogs in the pack, finally picking up potty training, playing with the pack, and accepting new people comes easily. She is learning to walk on a leash, the pulling, oh my the pulling. For a 16-pound dog, she is STRONG!!! But we got this.
She has been excellent when meeting new people, amazing with all dogs, and respectful with cats and small critters. She's done absolutely well with Olga's boys 7 years and up.
Trisskit is not a clingy or a purse dog per se but she is a sweetheart, affectionate lap dog. She's independent and warms up to people easily, loves all toys, especially stuffed toys, and plays fetch. We love her puppy energy (playful puppy energy), snuggling under the covers, and she too is a mol dog which we all love! Trissy is a follower and would enjoy at least another playful balance dog in the home.
Trisskit is house and crate trained, current to date on all age-appropriate core vaccines including lepto & corona, 1 or 3-year rabies, dewormed, fecal tested negative, microchipped including free registration for life, spay/neutered, heartworm & lyme diseases tested negative upon adoption, and on monthly heartworm flea/tick prevention.

Out-of-state adopters are welcome at the adopter's expense. We do NOT ship and meet and greet are required before adoption unless you are a previous adopter.
Previous adopters have the first choice and are not expected to pay another adoption fee again. Donation of their choice is welcomed.
Training is an ongoing process that needs to be worked on daily. New issues and opportunities arise daily that have to be addressed and or rewarded. Continued training is a must.
Adoption Fee of $375 covers all of the above and everyday needs/care.
