Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Let's say you have a dog rescue and you find yourself caring for a momma dog named Gwyneth and her 7 puppies. What should you name the puppies after? Probably something adorable like types of candy. Or, you could do what we did and name them after the 7 deadly sins. Fortunately, we think that the only real sin is needing a puppy and not adopting one. We are aiming to fix that!
Gwyneth is a mixed breed dog who weighs 30 pounds. We suspect her puppies will also be about 30 pounds fully grown. The puppies will be 8 weeks old and ready to go home on August 19th, but we are reviewing applications now so we can get them all great homes.
The boys are Greedy, Piggy and Randy. Greedy has mastered cuddling and kisses and has a delightfully round belly. He loves to play and is the first to the food bowl. Piggy is a bit of a misnomer as he's actually really sweet and is good at sharing toys with his litter mates. Randy is often initiating games and is wicked smart. All of the puppies are very well socialized with kids, cats, large and small dogs.
Puppies need vaccines every 3 weeks until they are 16 weeks old. Until then, they don't have enough immunity to go to dog parks and the like. All puppies also need ongoing socialization and training, so the adopter should be prepared for puppy kindergarten and obedience classes. The 7 sins will have had 2 rounds of vaccines by the time of their adoption, are microchipped, dewormed and current on their preventatives.
200 dollars of the adoption fee is refundable upon proof of neutering at 6-9 months old.
