My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lucy!!

Lucy is about 2 years old and is a short little girl, weighing only 40 pounds. We believe she is mixed with some shepherd or other long haired breed.

Lucy was found by some of our volunteers after being dumped. No one came forward for her, so she became a part of the rescue.

Lucy is the sweetest little girl despite not having the best life. She is very submissive in the home. She enjoys lounging on the couch with a toy. She has a happy personality and enjoys her new life with us.

Lucy is not a fan of other animals at this time but would do well with children. She is potty trained.

Lucy does not however enjoy being left alone or crated. She will need someone who is home with her or who can make arrangements for her needs. She will go into a crate but she will cry when you leave.

Lucy is a great dog who is looking for someone to be patient with her. In return, you’ll get a wonderful baby and all the love in the world.

More about this rescue

We started out fighting for our baby boy, Lucci, who was killed due to Airport Animal Emergi-Center Clinic's breed prejudice. When he was killed, we make a promise that no bully would be left behind. Now we try to save as many bullies as we can!
