Introducing Drogo…a beautiful purebred from Russia! Drogo was brought to the US for breeding purposes, but my family could no longer care for me. MCR was asked to take him. No more children for this sweet boy. Since I don’t speak Russian, I have no idea what he thinks of all this. LOL
FOOD! He’s on a grain-free diet which seems to be the best for his gastrointestinal tract. The only exception is Temptations treats. Toss-up between those and Churu. We do love our treats.
LOVE! If I walk into the foster room and sit down he’s in my lap immediately giving me head butts, and purring his little heart out. Trust me when I say I totally adore this boy. Oh, and I forgot about the bird and people watching. He’s highly entertained with my bird feeders and keeps complete track of everyone walking past the house. My neighbor waves at him every morning on her way to work.
PLAY! He’s learned that the cat charmer wand toy is the best fun in the world. He will practically do back flips trying to catch it. And I have a feeling that balls will be a hit when he has more room.
He is a stickler about his litter box being clean. I suggest two so that there’s constantly a clean one. Good news is he likes a 10-gallon PVC mixing tub as his litter box. $8.00 at Home Depot. This was suggested by his previous owner, and it works a treat!
Drogo should be an only cat. He came to us with the caveat of “aggressive and dominant.” Which may or may not be the case now that he’s been neutered. What I do know is he was starved for affection and he’s an extremely strong little 17lb boy. He doesn’t mind being left alone when you’re gone but expects to be front and center when you’re home.
Drogo is not for a household with small children. He tends to want to nip. They’re love bites, and he hasn’t broken skin, but I wouldn’t trust him around young ones.
You need to be close enough to come meet him. Adopters will not be approved without a meet and greet. So I suggest within 150 miles of his location. He is located in Woodstock, GA.
If you are interested in Drogo and would like a meet and greet, please click here to submit an Adoption Application.
His adoption fee is $275.00. This includes spay/neuter, updated FVRCP Vaccine, updated Rabies Vaccine, microchip, combo test (neg), and wellness visit.
