My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Moo's dad passed away and she needed a place to crash. She is a loveable and sweet girl that loves people and wants to be pet. She loves to cuddle and hang out on the couch and would make a great companion.

Moos is a solo dog, she prefers to have all the love for herself. Moo will require a secure fence as she loves to sniff around the yard and look for lizards.

Moo is 6 years old, 55lbs. She is crate trained, house broken and does not have any storm phobia. She would benefit from a structured environment in her forever home.

This beauty is an absolute doll!

More about this rescue

Second Chance” is not a second chance for dogs, because that would presume they had a first chance and failed. The majority of the dogs we rescue never had any chances, first, second, or otherwise. The name of our rescue refers to giving humans a second chance to provide a safe, healthy, and loving home and environment for our dogs, since most of these dogs come to us after they have been abused or neglected by their owners.

SCF solely relies on volunteers to get the work done and no one receives compensation for their work. SCF receives no funding from the government or the United Way. Our adoption fees and donations from other dog lovers cover our costs.
