Here's what the humans have to say about me:
FOSTERED IN: Adoption Center - Frankfort, IL 60423
ESTIMATED DOB: 08/2022
COLOR/BREED: Tabby Shorthair
KIDS: Likely
DOGS: Unknown
CATS: Some
HISTORY:
Sonya was abandoned overnight behind a local animal control facility, left inside one of their outdoor dog kennels, luckily in a carrier, so she was protected from the dogs who were let out before she was found.
ABOUT:
Sonya is a very confident young lady. She will happily greet you at the door and proceed to rub her face all over your feet (and if you're wearing sandals, your toes will probably get a few licks!). Sometimes she'll flop right over on top of them so that you can't even move until you reach down and give her the attention she's looking for. She enjoys receiving pets and spending time with her humans (she'll often hop right up on the couch when you sit down), but she can be independent and isn’t needy, so you don't have to worry about entertaining her 24/7.
Sonya is moderately active, so she will engage in playtime when encouraged, but also likes to chill and relax in front of a window for much of the day. She loves to climb, so she would love to have a cat tree in her future home. Sonya will need a slow introduction to other cats, but she does enjoy the company of some cats after she gets to know them. She will likely do better with non-assertive males. She’s not opposed to giving another cat a bop on the nose if they get too close. She would easily be happy as an only cat too.
