Polydactyl Calico Kitten Ready to be Adopted!
Hi, my name is Mocha. Life didn’t start out too well for me until the day I was rescued with my siblings, Mango, Cashew, and Chai. They have all been adopted but I am still waiting for my forever home. We were abandoned kittens that were all scared, dirty, and dehydrated but otherwise healthy when we were found. After lots of TLC and good vet care, I am now ready for adoption.
I am a happy little girl, holding my head up high, and I am usually frolicking in several directions at once! I am very energetic, self-confident, and affectionate—I love playing with anything at any time. I also love being around other cats and kittens, because for some reason, I don’t enjoy being alone and will meow until I get some attention. Most of the time I am pretty outgoing and I will steal your heart away along with any other toy that another kitten happens to be playing with! MOL Photos don’t do me justice—I’m a calico with unique markings. How can you resist my precious face and large mittens?!
From Mocha’s foster: Mocha is driven by curiosity and one of her favorite things to do is play with some type of ball; she can throw a ping-pong ball up in the air and catch it with her back feet while doing a 180, then a summersault! She also loves chasing a ball that goes around on a track. She likes to jump up for the fishing pole toy, or chase a crinkly toy or catnip mouse down the hallway. Playing with ice cubes has been a recent fascination.
When Mocha finally gets tired out, she usually wants to cuddle with a friend and wants her tummy rubbed while she purrs loudly, and makes muffins very affectionately. However, you will have to have patience if you are looking for a lap cat as she is a little too energetic to sit still for very long yet, like many kittens are. She will adjust well in a moderately active home where she gets lots of attention, TLC, and has a playmate about her same age. She will provide companionship and entertainment for your family for a very long time. She gets along well with cats but has never been exposed to dogs and small children.
Mocha was born on 4/1/23 and has had all appropriate vaccines, is spayed, has been tested for feline leukemia, de-wormed, and microchipped. For more information, please text Janet, her foster mom, at 916-791-6387.
