Meet Maxwell! This 45 lb cutie is looking for a family, dog and kid friendly! House trained, Crate Trained, Leash Trained! Maxwell can Sit and plays well with other dogs. He has played with 8-10 children at his foster home, however he did previously have a bite incident where he chased a bicycle and bit at the ankles of the rider. Cattle dogs are Notorious for herding, nipping, chasing so we do not recommend young kids. Maxwell is super affectionate; he would love nothing more than to cuddle and hang out with his person. If you've ever wanted one of those insanely loyal dogs, this is your guy. He loves to give hugs and will try to nibble on your nose if you let him. Maxwell would do best in a home with a very secure backyard. He needs a commitment to his training and following a schedule. He is so motivated to learn and his home should want to exercise his brain!
