My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Butters has been with us since mid March and we are starting to learn some of his personality. He has not really bloomed in boarding kennel life, so we hope to get him in a foster home soon so we can really see Butters relax! Butters is a pretty typical 2 year old boy so far, happy energy when he first gets in the play yard to stretch his legs followed by some down time chewing on a toy. He is still working on perfecting his leash skills, and is a little clumsy for his size. Butters still jumps up like a puppy and trips over his own feet.. and other people’s feet! Because he’s a bit like a bull in a china shop, we think older kids would be better so he doesn’t knock over any little ones in the home! Butters already knows Sit, Wait, Lay, and Kennel! He has done well with other dogs in the play yard, but would still need some separate decompression space if in a home with other dogs. Butters has the making of a great family dog!
