My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there!! My name is Cherry and I am a big, beautiful girl looking for my forever home! I love people and I enjoy going on walks, hanging out on the couch, and playing in the snow. I am deaf, meaning that sometimes I can startle easily when woken up, but that doesn`t stop me from giving all the love to my human friends here at the shelter! Because of the startle response that I have, I would do best in a home without children under the age of 12. If you think I would make a good fit for your home, please give the shelter a call at 719-686-7707 to schedule an appointment to meet me!

Additional adoption info

To adopt:
All adoptions must be done in person. Visit the shelter to meet the adoptable animals you would like to consider. TCRAS is open 6 days a week, please see hours of operation.

Your visit with each animal will be assisted by a trained adoption specialist to answer questions, address concerns and to help you decide if the animal is a good fit for your home environment (i.e. children, other pets, specific needs, etc). You can also bring in your current pets to do a visitation (this may be required with certain animals).
