My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Thomas is a very affectionate kitten - he's happy to be a lap kitty or to be held and petted, showing his purring skills immediately if either happens. When not busy with his people, he likes to keep company with the 1-year old kitties, cuddling and getting a free bath from them! Thomas is currently living in a foster home, getting time to socialize with multiple other kitties of various ages.

Thomas' handsome mackerel tabby fur coat is easy care shorthair, and his pretty green eyes are a perfect accent to his look. You can't go wrong with this classic tabby! He's a great age for adoption - all the fun of a kitten, but past the baby training stages. We think adopting a pair is easier than a single - it gives the kitties a buddy for the times their people are not available and makes the adoption a smoother process. If you're considering that, please ask about his brother Oliver or one of our other kitties either of the same age, or maybe a teenager!

For more information you may call or text Judy at 530 209-5139. His future family will be lucky to get this little sweetheart!

We are in a rural location and cover a large area with small communities far apart. We tailor our adoption process to fit the needs of each adoption, whether it be a home visit or other specific situation. RAIN Thrift store is open daily at the address above. Adopters can meet the pets there that are currently available for adoption. We're in the process of setting up with other websites to add our photos to expand coverage for our adoptable pets.

More about this rescue

Rescued Animals In Need is a no kill organization whose main focus is rescuing lost, abandoned, abused, neglected or unwanted animals and helping them find their forever homes. We work hard to reduce the number of unwanted dogs and cats by providing education and financial assistance (when available) for spay/neuter programs to help prevent unwanted and uncontrolled pregnancies for animals in our communities. Including a program for the voiceless and often ignored feral cats. We have full non-profit 501(c)3 status with the State of California.
