Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Eli is a new arrival at Dobie Rescue, and he's lucky to be alive (in more ways than one). His animal shelter neutered him and he was slated to fly to Washington state due to the heavy death toll at California animal shelters. For unknown reasons, his surgery site became badly infected and he did not fly that day. The animal shelter vet staff was very conscientious and treated Eli's infection with four different medications, so by the time we rescued him several days later, he was already healing. We really like Eli. His tail nub never stops wiggling with delight, and he's wonderful with his kennelmate. He's on the small side and aged at about 5 years, though there is significant wear on his incisors indicating he could be slightly older than that.
