Hi, meow! My name is Ruthanne. My foster mom named me after a childhood friend so I feel quite honored! She must like me….no, make that love me! I was a stray that someone took to the shelter in hopes I could find a great home. I’m halfway there because Maine Coon Rescue snatched me up and got me all taken care of. The promise now is that I will find a forever, loving home. I just can’t wait for that to happen!

 I am very easy to get along with – even the dogs and other cats think I’m cool. I am fairly low maintenance other than I insist on regular pettings and lots of love but most people have a ready store of those. I chirp, and really chirp when I know it’s meal time. My foster mom always puts my food down first because I insist. I heard that the “squeaky wheel…..” – well, it works for me!

I am about three years old and fully vetted – ready to go, as they say. If I can spend the rest of my life at your house, please submit an adoption application!
