Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Galadriel’s adoption fee has been sponsored!
This young lady truly deserves her happily ever after. We decided to sponsor her adoption fee, in case that was holding anyone back from taking this sweet gal home. Galadriel (aka Gala) was pulled from the shelter with her 4 baby boys. She did a terrific job raising them and is now ready for her happily ever after with a family to call her own. She’s a gorgeous, cream/ivory color with a very soft coat. Her foster mama says she can be quite the chatterbox while she’s waiting for her meals to be served or when she comes looking for attention. Galadriel will need a family willing to take things slow and build a meaningful relationship at her own pace. This beautiful mama has such great potential to be a cuddly lap kitty, we just know it!

Who are we?
Chesapeake Rescue Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue organization. Our cats are vaccinated, microchipped, spayed/neutered, and tested for FeLV, FIV, and Heartworm disease before being placed in carefully selected homes.
We are foster–based, meaning we do not have a facility. All of our cats are in foster homes in the Southern Maryland area. Our goal is to protect animals in the Chesapeake Bay area and beyond. We connect animals in need to safe homes and facilitate their access to quality veterinary care. Our rescue also provides trap-neuter-return, education, and outreach services to support the well-being of animals within the community at-large. This organization emphasizes transparency and integrity while providing educational resources to support the humane treatment of animals.
