Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pippin is a very curious and active kitten who loves to learn about the world around him. You can often find him climbing and crawling into odd corners, chasing his siblings and making his own fun. Sometimes this fun can be silly activities like climbing on his parents and sitting on their shoulders for a better view of his siblings playing. This highly agreeable kitty also enjoys attention from his humans, and will often come up to you for some pets before running off again to play. This friendly cat would likely do best with a household with other pets as playmates to keep him entertained. He would also appreciate a home with plenty of cozy hiding spots, where he can burrow himself in to nap in peace.

Who are we?
Chesapeake Rescue Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue organization. Our cats are vaccinated, microchipped, spayed/neutered, and tested for FeLV, FIV, and Heartworm disease before being placed in carefully selected homes.
We are foster–based, meaning we do not have a facility. All of our cats are in foster homes in the Southern Maryland area. Our goal is to protect animals in the Chesapeake Bay area and beyond. We connect animals in need to safe homes and facilitate their access to quality veterinary care. Our rescue also provides trap-neuter-return, education, and outreach services to support the well-being of animals within the community at-large. This organization emphasizes transparency and integrity while providing educational resources to support the humane treatment of animals.
