Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dillon – Very Entertaining, Affectionate and Loving Boy - Island Kitten for Adopting!
Contact: email dcmcats@yahoo.com
Dillon is a sweet boy who enjoys playing with his litter mates and the other foster kittens. He is very entertaining and enjoys running around and chasing his toys. He loves his Churu treats and is affectionate and loving. He was born in mid-May. Dillon is Friendly, Affectionate, Gentle, Playful, Smart, Curious, Funny, Social, Loving, and Interactive. He Plays Well With Others, is Very Entertaining, Loves Chasing Toys, and is Athletic! He is a handsome orange Tabby with white kitten.
Dillon and the other kittens were rescued from a large local island colony that had been devastated in Hurricane Ida and had been left on their own for some time, where cats are now being spayed and neutered and the kittens are being rescued.
The kittens are sweet and friendly and in need of forever homes! They are social and fully vetted. They get along well with other cats and kittens too. They are not afraid of dogs so would do well with a doggie buddy as well! They can be picked up and handled and love attention.
Besides being fixed, the kittens were tested and received shots/boosters and are happy healthy kittens. They are located in foster in Grand Isle but can be transported locally to meet them.
All the kittens had such a rough start. Several were rescued from an abandoned house and were in terrible shape when first rescued. The colonies did not receive any help in a long time until some kind ladies stepped in to get them fixed and healthy, and to give the kittens new starts.
There are also several other kittens in need of fostering and socializing that would benefit from some one on one care. We are looking for fosters or adaptors who are wiling to work with a shy kitten or 2 who would need a little patience and coaxing, and some kindness and loving to make them feel secure. Supplies and tips on socializing can be provided.
If you would like to meet Dillon and/or one of his foster kitten siblings, or are interested in fostering some of the other kittens, please reply via email to dcmcats@yahoo.com with a little about yourself and your household, and what your typical weekday and weekend schedule is like. Thank you for reading this listing and sharing pics and info about Dillon and his foster siblings!
