Hi, I’m Ember! People tell me I’m gorgeous, and who am I to disagree? I’m a nine-pound, ten-month-old female chihuahua, fully vetted, vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on heartworm medication. I’m looking for a fun-loving forever family that knows the whole package when they see it!
After a good Samaritan found me on the streets in Texas (notice how the white patch on my chest resembles the state?), I traveled all the way to the Midwest to live with my foster mom and doggy siblings. I love my family and let them know by following them everywhere, cuddling up close, and showering them with kisses! I also love playing with toys, especially chew toys, and can entertain myself for hours. My foster mom says I’m very smart because I sit for treats (seems like a no-brainer to me) and go outside to do my business as long as they stick to a consistent schedule.
While I am mostly quiet, I bark at large dogs and loud noises but settle down quickly when I realize I’m safe. I’m just a pup, so I have lots of energy! I hope my forever home will include another furry sibling who loves to run and play as much as I do. I would also love to have a fenced-in yard so I can get my daily “zoomies”!
