Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sally is a beautiful, black and white pit bull mix approximately 14 months old. She is currently being fostered on a small farm in Glencoe, Oklahoma. Though she does okay leashed around the farm life Sally would be better suited in a home without a variety of other critters. Sally walks well on the leash and loves to go on walks and explore. Most of all she loves to be with her humans to play and cuddle. Sally loves her foster mom and is slowly warming up to her foster dad. A slow introduction to other people and dogs will be best for Sally as she was very shy and scared when arriving at her new home from the shelter. Sally has a best doggie friend here that she plays with named Foxy. Sally likes most dogs but can be selective. She has not been cat tested. Sally loves toys and treats. She especially loves her Kong toys and Nylabones and of course, anything with stuffing she can have fun trying to get out! Sally has not had much opportunity to learn house manners but she has done well under supervision. Her fosters spend as much time as they can on potty training. She is crate trained for sleeping during the night. She will cry in the crate when she has to go potty. Sally is full of love and is very eager to learn. Her eyes and face tell a story of sadness in her past but she is loved now and looking for her forever family that will love and train her to be her best!
Interested in becoming a forever home for Sally? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application.
Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws .
We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Sally.
We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Sally the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us.
For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process.
Our adoption fee is $300. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.
All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!

Friends with Four Paws is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization formed to rescue animals in Oklahoma from imminent death by having mobile adoption locations and providing foster care for dogs and cats. Founded in 1998, we have matched thousands of dogs and cats with their perfect, forever homes, where they otherwise would have been sent to the Rainbow Bridge.
Our program has drastically changed throughout time, as many do. We get our animals from local municipal shelters and from the general public. Once they are in our program, they go to a foster for several weeks, get all of their veterinary work done, and are listed for adoption.
Our transport program allows us to move dogs through our system fairly quickly, which means we are able to save many lives. We LOVE our adopters, fosters and volunteers and would not be able to make the difference we make without them.
