Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hello there, I'm Lady. I'm one of several beautiful German Shepherds here at HSNB, weighing in at about 65 lbs.
I have been in foster for and I love my humans, and my foster doggy sibling. We walk together, play together and sleep together without issue (sometimes we both take over the bed and humans wake up stiff from sleeping funny - oops). Cats - not so keen as my instinct is to chase.
I am a shy girl and strangers can be scary but if you come in slowly and give me a couple minutes I will soon be snuggling up for pets (I am also super soft). I am potty trained, dog door trained, a lap stealer and a bit of a toy hog. I warn the humans of stranger danger so you will never be surprised by someone coming to the house.
I would thrive best with someone that helps me to feel safe and is patient with me and maybe has a dog already that I can play with. I have a lot of love to give. Please come and meet me!
My $150 adoption fee means I will come to your home spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all my vaccines. Please visit HSNB.org to complete an adoption interest application found in our bio. Hope to see you soon!
You should receive a confirmation email from HSNB if your application was successfully submitted. If you do not receive confirmation from us, please email adoptions@hsnb.org for assistance.
See you soon! 💕

Additional adoption info
We test animals for the following:
Dogs: Good with other dogs, possibly cats, food aggression, walks on leash, noting any other attributes we may know.
Cats: Good with other cats, litter box trained, noting any other attributes we may know.
We cannot test if any animal is good with children. We may know if an animal is possibly house trained, but cannot guarantee any animal in the shelter is house trained. We do not know if a dog is good with cats unless we are advised by a person surrendering the animal. We may have an idea of this depending on how the dog reacts to our community cats that live on the property.
