My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gracie is a 9 year old Cocker Spaniel looking for her forever home. She is deaf, but is housebroken, very friendly, gets along with other animals, loves to go for walks on her leash, she has been trained to a tie-out, she likes to go for rides in the car, and just being with her people. There are only two things Gracie has a problem with. The first is, she will not defend herself from another dog if they should nip or go after her. Second, she gets on barking spurts when I'm cooking, or eating. These spurts have gotten better lately, as I've been working with her on this issue. Recently I got her a snuffle mat to keep her busy, it has helped a great deal. Gracie can be a picky eater, but I have found she does prefer dry food. She will eat very little people food, even though she will bark and tease for it. She would be best in a single floor home because she doesn't go down steps very well but does manage to come up them ok. She would do best with someone who can spend a lot of time with her on a daily basis, patience, and WILL NOT put a bark collar on her, because she doesn't deserve that.
