Dixie!
This lovely lady is Dixie. Dixie is an 8-9 yr old female chihuahua with the coolest merle coloring.

Dixie was surrendered to us by an Amish farm where she just wasn't wanted any more, although we cannot possibly imagine why. Despite her sheltered life Dixie LOVES everyone she meets. She could probably get a job as a Walmart greeter. She is happy to be scooped up, or just run around looking for more fun and new friends.

Did we mention Dixie is a tripod? She is missing a back leg and just has a small nub, which we think just makes her even cuter. Apparently Dixie's mom accidentally caused the injury when Dixie was just a few days old, but clearly it does not negatively affect her in any way, nor require any extra care.

Dixie is good with other small dogs, or would be happy as your one and only. She has done well sleeping in a crate and will just need someone understanding as she gets used to the indoor life and helps with housebreaking.

Dixie's adoption fee includes her spay, vaccinations, dental if needed, and microchipping. She is also up to date on basic vet care and preventatives.
