Hello Adopters.
My name is Mirasol. And I am such a beauty !!! Do you see my Inspector Clouseau moustache???? I betcha you have never seen a cat with a more purrrfect moustache. AND I am a lady....oh well, guess I am very distinctive looking and my little moustache will be a topic of discussion everytime you and your friends see me.
I was found in a community cat colony along with my sister Piri when we were younger kitties. It was a scary and dangerous place with many predators, snakes and bad bugs. We were fed everyday by some very kind humans. One day a human thought that we should be taken to a foster home because we were friendly especially when we were inticed by the yummy food that we were given.
We've been together at a foster home for a few months now. And we are so thankful to be living safely inside. We are now living a dream come true.
I have been told by my foster that I am an anxious but very curious girl. I really like being independent and doing my own thing. You will find me in covered beds and behind curtains on the windowsills. Not a cuddler but when I see you bringing us kitties food I become very food and treat-motivated. Watch my usual very independent purrrrrsonality disappear really fast when feeding time brings out my loving and affectionate purrrrrsonality. I will climb into your lap for treats. My foster smiles and laughs when I get a bit handsy with treats and I will extend my paw and hold her hand when I eat my treats.
Awwwww......I love my foster so much because I so appreciate the goodies she gives me to keep me healthy and happy. My foster says that I thrive when on my feeding schedule and that I am getting more and more affectionate with each passing day. I let my foster pet and stroke my me when she gives me food and treats. Feels good to me.
I love playing with other cats especially my sister Piri. I like to share my toys, food or litter boxes with all the cats in my house. Not at all possessive. I am very gentle and never hiss or scratch. But I really don't like dogs. They are so so different from us cats. Cats Rule. Dogs Drool. Ha !!!!
I prefer to be on my own most of the day or near my sister Piri. You humans seem to like to be busy with your projects which is just fine with me. I won't bother you and I prefer to sit alone with Piri. I promise not to beg for hugs or kisses or snuggling with you on the couch or in bed. I will be happy to share your house and be the best roommate ever. But you never know...someday I may surprise you and jump up into your lap while you are watching TV or jump onto your bed and snuggle with you.
