My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to Alex, an irresistible 13-week-old beagle/dachshund mix, eagerly waiting for his forever home. This charming little pup has captured the hearts of everyone at the rescue center with his friendly demeanor and playful spirit. Alex has had a rough start, but he's ready to leave his past behind and embrace a future filled with love and joy.

Temperament:
Alex is a bundle of joy who brings happiness to everyone around him. His playful nature is contagious, and he loves nothing more than a good romp with his canine buddies. Socialization has been a positive aspect of his life, and he gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He's like the life of the party, always ready for some playtime.

While he can be initially shy around new people, all it takes is a little patience and kindness to win him over. Once he gets to know you, he'll shower you with affection and become your loyal companion.

Interests and Activities:
Toys are the key to Alex's heart. Whether it's a squeaky ball, a plushie, or an interactive puzzle, he'll be thoroughly entertained and content. Providing him with a variety of toys will keep his mind engaged and his tail wagging happily.

His love for playing with other dogs makes him an ideal addition to a household with existing furry friends. He thrives in a social environment where he can continue to develop his playful and social skills.

Alex's gentle nature extends to children, and he's good with kids. His affectionate and patient demeanor makes him a wonderful companion for families looking to welcome a furry friend into their home.

Ideal Home:
Alex would flourish in a home that values playtime, companionship, and understanding. A family with or without other dogs would suit him well, as long as there's plenty of love and attention to go around. Since he's a bit shy initially, a calm and nurturing environment will help him feel safe and secure as he settles into his new home.

He'll thrive in a household where there's time for daily play and exercise, especially with his four-legged friends. A yard or a safe outdoor area would give him the opportunity to explore and run around freely.

Training and Socialization:
As a young puppy, Alex is eager to learn and please his humans. Positive reinforcement training methods will help him develop good manners and become a well-behaved dog. Continuing his socialization with people and other animals will build his confidence and make him more comfortable in different situations.
