My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Born in our rescue
Say hello to Gabby, an adorable 13-week-old Beagle/Dachshund mix with soulful eyes and a heart full of love. Rescued from a challenging past, Gabby is now on a journey to find a loving and understanding family to call her own. While she may be initially shy around strangers, her loyalty and affection towards her chosen person are boundless. With a patient and caring home, Gabby is sure to blossom into a devoted and cherished companion.

Temperament:
Gabby's gentle and shy nature makes her a precious gem waiting to be discovered. Although it may take some time for her to feel at ease around new people, her loyalty and love for her person once she's bonded are beyond compare. With patience and reassurance, she'll gradually come out of her shell and become an affectionate and devoted member of the family.

Interests and Activities:
Gabby thrives on the joy of companionship and loves to play with other dogs. Her social nature makes her an excellent addition to a home with existing furry friends. She'll enjoy interactive play and fun-filled romps, building strong bonds with her four-legged siblings.

Her love extends to children, and she'll eagerly embrace playtime with kids. Gabby's gentle and affectionate disposition makes her a perfect match for families seeking a loving and trustworthy companion for their children.

Ideal Home:
Gabby is searching for a patient and loving family who will understand her initial shyness and provide a safe and nurturing environment. A quiet and calm household would be ideal, allowing her to adjust at her own pace. An owner or family willing to give her the time and space she needs to feel secure and loved will be rewarded with a lifetime of loyalty and affection.

A home with another dog or children would be a bonus, as Gabby thrives in the company of others and cherishes the bonds she forms.

Training and Socialization:
As a young pup, Gabby is eager to learn and please her family. Positive reinforcement training methods, along with gentle encouragement, will help her build confidence and develop into a well-behaved companion. Continued socialization with new people and experiences will allow her to feel more comfortable and confident in various situations.
