Sugar!

Sugar is a very timid lady who you will always find curled up with cat friends on the
high window ledge in the Purple adoption room. She came from a home that had far too many cats, and not enough attention was ever given to her- not enough positive human attention- and it has made her immensely anxious and difficult to work with. Sugar often runs when people try to touch her, and when she is adopted, her adopters must also promise that they will take a very, very slow approach to win over her trust, even if it takes many months to do so. We can’t undo her past, but we hope someone will come give her a brighter future. Sugar would do best in a quieter household with a cat friend or two to help her feel more confident and comfortable while she adjusts to her new home- and living with a friendlier cat might even help her become friendly! Please give this scared baby a chance.
