My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Murphy, he is about 1 years old Lab mix. Murphy was dumped over a bluff, high cliff, in the Shawnee National Forest near Belknap in Johnson County. They we thought he was a baby deer at first and passed him up. He's just a puppy. Was very scared and sore. He must have pulled himself up on his own.
We are working with Murphy to trust people and dogs. When he first came into the rescue he was a little shy and a little timid initially and did well with dogs. While in foster care him and his foster mom were charged by a large 100 lb dog which has made him fearful. We are working with a trainer to help build his confidence and trust back. He will need somebody who is understanding of that and will give him the time and patience he needs to adjust . He is such a sweet boy regardless of how his life began. He is housebroken, and goes into the crate on his own. He is neutered, up to date on shots, and microchipped.
