My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Guenevere is a lovely, outgoing Torby kitten, whose calico patches have tabby markings. She was born in Oct. 2022. She is affectionate and mellow. Guen watches for you at the window, ankle rubs, door greets, follows you around, tolerates being carried, and purrs on contact with trusted folks. She jumps into your lap and stays for short sessions of petting or brushing. Guen is kitten-active, rolls over for tummy stroking, and is quiet until meal time.

She is friendly with strangers, does okay with other cats, but is a bit on the dominate side. She is fine with calm kids over age six. Guen likes to play with toys by herself and interactively with you, as well as watching wildlife at the window. Guen will do best with another cat as a pal. Siblings are available.

If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored). Easier to do today than 1 -2 years later when you finally realize the need.

This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Calicos and Siamese are $250+tx.
