Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Flapjack is a special guy looking for a dog experienced home. He didn't have the best start to life, but has made an enormous amount of progress since his first days at the shelter. He enjoys being pet by his favorite people and playing in the yard, especially if that play involves another dog. He has learned how to walk on leash well and now enjoys being out and about in nature with his family by his side. Because of his rough start, he is nervous around new people and takes a while to trust them. Earning that trust is worth it because you will ultimately have an affectionate dog by your side. He may do well with other dogs in his new home with a slow introduction, and a dog introduction will be required with any resident dogs prior to adoption to check for compatibility. A behavior consult with our behavior department will be provided to discuss his individual needs and how to set him up for success.
