My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bentley is a 3-year-old brindle beauty with ears for days and a personality that's larger than life. He's been at the shelter for over a year now, and during his stay, he's become our go-to helper dog for dogs who aren't quite sure about their own species.

Bentley has a way of putting nervous dogs at ease with his calm and friendly demeanor. He's like the resident dog whisperer, and we're constantly amazed at how he can bring out the best in even the most timid dogs.

Despite his helpful nature, Bentley has a bit of a mischievous side too. He loves to steal treats from his dog girlfriend when she isn't looking, and he's been known to bury his favorite ball in the most unlikely places. And okay, sometimes he eats the ball because he loves it so much.

But the best part about Bentley's love for his ball is that he will gently nudge it towards you to invite you to play with him, and it makes you want to toss him that ball all day. His love for the game is infectious, and it's hard to resist his adorable nudges.

Don't let Bentley's funny quirks fool you. He's a loyal and loving companion who would do anything for his humans. He's always up for a game of fetch or a long walk in the park, and he loves nothing more than snuggling up with his favorite people at the end of the day.

Due to his size and strength, Bentley would not be a good match for households with small children. However, he would do best in a home with adults or older children who are able to handle his exuberant nature and give him the time and space he needs to feel comfortable.

Bentley's brindle coat is just as gorgeous as his personality. His unique coloring is a blend of dark browns and blacks that make him stand out in a crowd. He photographs well, but he's even more stunning in person.
