My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

LOOKING FOR THE PERFECT ADDITION?
Meet Misty! She is the perfect sweet heart who loves everyone! Misty was found on the streets of rural Mississippi as a stray. But now Misty is in a foster home in New England, and her foster family says, "
This girl is a lover! She wants to snuggle and be around you as much as she can. Do you like excessive kisses? Because Misty sure does.

She has done great with sit and lay down. BIG fan of trying to eat the waves. She likes to play with our dogs, and is now snuggling them (whether they like it or not). She has been great with our daughter, although she sometimes forgets her size.

Misty would be a great addition to any home (family, single adult, other dogs, etc.). She sleeps in her crate at night, but we think she would make a great cuddle buddy." Misty is house trained, leash trained and crate trained!

Misty Is hw ( heartworm) negative, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped.

More about this rescue

Northbound Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting primarily independent rescuers in rural North Western Mississippi. With many of these communities battling overpopulation, low local adoption rates and climbing medical bills, Northbound Rescue forms a partnership with these rescuers to assist them with medical care, fundraising, transport and rescue efforts in the Northeast.
Our vision is to help our partners in Mississippi get their animals proper medical care and find them their forever home in the Northeast.
Why we do it... every animal deserves to be loved safe and cared for, we are their voice.
