Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Willa is being adopted 8/7/10! Her new name will be Kali!
Willa is a social and loving little retriever/shepherd girl who wants to have a 2-legged companion of her very own. Quick to sit for love and rollover on her back to get her belly rubbed, Willa wins the hearts of all who meet her. She follows us everywhere, in between going outside to potty on her own (thanks to a doggie door) and chewing on a Nylabone. She is crate trained and doesn’t have accidents indoors as long as she is kept on a potty schedule.
Our little girl also goes by “Puppet,” a nickname given to her when she arrived. There is constant butt-wagging at thanks to Willa’s presence. She is about 15 weeks old (as of June 15th). She weighs a 25 lbs. We expect Willa to be 50-60 lb when he's fully grown, but we've been known to be wrong & dogs be smaller/bigger than ours & the vets best guess.
She has a fluffy & soft black coat with tan on her face, feet, & chest. The tan on her chest is in the shape of a seagull. She has a very happy face & smiles at us every time we say her name. When scolded, Willa will stop and sit and look pitiful as if she is very sorry for what she did wrong. Her aim is to please her people! Willa, in short, is a wonderful companion that has lots of love to give and will bring some lucky person years of happiness.
Willa loves the other dogs and is constantly playing with them. She enjoys chewing on our foster pup Clemenza's cheeks, legs, as well as being chewed on herself. A game of chase is welcomed anytime if Willa’s around. She will quickly put her head down, her butt up, and then is ready to give the other dogs a run for their money as they fly around the backyard. She also enjoys a good dig in the dirt. We suggest her new family have a puppy fort, as we like to call it, if she will be left in the backyard unsupervised at this age.
The Giggly Treat Balls are a favorite smart toy for Willa; she’ll push the ball all over the house to make the kibble fall out so she can enjoy the yummy treats. When finished playing, our Puppet will share the quiet moment with us if we invite her on the sofa or in the doggie cot.
She is spayed, current on her vaccinations, wormer, and Frontline.
