I received Kioti as a Christmas gift from my terminally ill domestic partner as a replacement for my 9 year old Pomeranian who died in December and a companion for me after he died in January. Life doesn’t always go the way you want. I have a daughter that will need around the clock care ( at least, initially) due to a mugging in Philadelphia that happened last Friday. I am going to move to Pennsylvania and I don’t think that Ki will be safe or comfortable in Philly.
Kioti is a great little dog with a big dog personality. He barks at the deer in the yard, anyone at the door. He is fearful and anxious with loud noises, i.e. thunder and fireworks. He’s also a bit anxious with new experiences.
He loves to chase his little tennis balls. He would do well with a fenced yard. He understands basic commands, sit, down, dance, twirl, high five and shake. He can’t grasp the concept of roll over. Walking away from our house I have to “drag” him, on the way back he’s dragging me. Lol.
