My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet little Emjay is sporting the latest fabulous puppy fashion and sure is pretty in pink! Emjay and her 8 brothers and sisters are safe and sound, as is mama Nebula, within the folds of Bone Voyage after being rescued off the street.

Meet Emjay, a lively and adventurous little one is just brimming with personality. She's a bundle of energy, intelligence, and affection! Emjay is a toy enthusiast, whether it's playing with her siblings, you, or other dogs. She's a natural-born explorer, with a touch of Indiana Jones in her spirit. She revels in discovering the world that surrounds her.

Her favorite pastime is taking a moment to smell the flowers before embarking on playful sprints. Emjay is a cuddle aficionado, and in return, she'll shower you with kisses. Her keen wit and observant nature make her a quick learner and a delightful companion. Get ready for exciting adventures with Emjay as she embraces life with boundless enthusiasm!

Emjay is fostered in Ajijic, Mexico, and can be adopted locally, or to locations in the United States and Canada.

More about this rescue

Bone Voyage is a non-profit rescue group created to send Mexican dogs north to better homes. We work with the local shelters and with people in the Lake Chapala area that have many street dogs in their care.

We also assist individuals that find street dogs and don’t know what to do with them. We are all volunteers working together to try to minimize the amount of homeless dogs in the area.
