My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Arnold, the resilient and spirited Saluki mix with a heart of gold, hailing all the way from Bahrain. This magnificent three-year-old tripod has faced life's trials with unwavering courage and now seeks a loving forever home where he can continue to thrive and bring joy to the hearts of his new family.

Arnold's journey has been one of determination and bravery. He may have lost one of his front legs in a tragic accident when he was hit by a car, but that hasn't dampened his spirits one bit. Arnold embraces his new life with all the enthusiasm and love he has to offer. Cuddling is his specialty - he's an expert at snuggling up on the couch, relishing every moment of affection he can get from his human family.

But this resilient Saluki mix is not content with just being a couch potato. Arnold loves frolicking with his fellow canine buddies, proving that play knows no boundaries, physical or otherwise. His joyful spirit shines as he runs, hops, and plays, embracing life with the tenacity of a champion.

While Arnold's heart is big enough to embrace all the love in the world, there are a few things he's not too fond of. Car rides and loud noises can make him a little uneasy, but with patience and understanding, he's learning to trust and conquer these fears.

As he adapts to his new life, Arnold sometimes faces moments of anxiety, which can lead to some destructive behaviour(toys and dog beds have been his victim). He's working on crate training, and with consistent guidance and support, this behaviour can be managed. In his heart, Arnold longs for a home that can provide him with the love, care, and training he needs to become the best version of himself.

Arnold is an affectionate and loving companion who would be a great fit for a family with respectful and caring kids. kids. While he may take a little time to warm up to males, once he does, they will be welcomed into his heart with open paws.
When it comes to stairs, Arnold may struggle a bit, but a bungalow or a home with limited stairs would be the perfect haven for him to navigate comfortably. He's a smart dog who's eager to learn, so additional training for basic commands and leash manners will help him become an even better companion.

If you're searching for a dog who embodies resilience, love, and the courage to embrace a new life, Arnold is the one. With a heart full of affection and a spirit that triumphs over adversity, he'll be a constant source of joy and inspiration to anyone lucky enough to call him family. If you're ready to open your heart and home to this exceptional Saluki mix, fill out an adoption application today. Arnold is waiting to shower you with love and devotion, making every day brighter with his presence. Together, let's give Arnold the loving home he truly deserves.
