Hi, my name is Tedi,
My good friends at Coastal Poodle Rescue say that I am a precious 3 year old Maltese/Poodle mix. I am pretty cute, if I do say so myself! I was raised as an only pup and I must have a totally fenced yard. I just love to run and play as fast as my little legs will go!
My foster folks think I should either be an only pup or with another young dog who loves to play as much as I do. I don't like for anyone to get close to me when I eat; I may sometimes growl but that`s all. So no small children. I will bark at large dogs, cats and squirrels outside. A fella has to protect his yard, after all. I ride well in the car as long as I can see out the windows and I sleep in my crate. I`m pretty perfect, I think.
I need to know what is expected of me and my boundaries; I need direction and guidance. I am very, very intelligent and I learn quickly. I just need a dog savvy family who is home a lot and willing to continue working with me, have patience with me, love me and let me know that I belong to them.
I am a little love bug and will pick my favorite person but I will also go to others in the household. I love to give kisses! I am in an experienced foster home now that has been working very hard to channel all of my smarts into productive behavior.
I am a sweetheart and will steal your heart. I have plenty of love to give to a special someone or family. Could it be you?
