Additional adoption info

We are looking for great homes for our dogs. Maybe your home? This is our basic adoption process. We require an adoption application to be filled out that describes your home situation and why you want to adopt. The application includes a number of questions that help us to get to know you, and to determine your situation, and whether the dog would fit into that situation. You must specify several references that will be checked before adoption. In addition, you will need to talk with a PAWS volunteer by phone or in person about the possible adoption. The adoption donation is currently $100.

Go meet their pets

Our animals either reside in our shelter in Chinook, or they reside in foster homes. People can visit the animals by appointment.

More about this shelter

PAWS of Chinook fills a need in the community by spreading the spay/neuter word, and encouraging responsible pet ownership. We take in strays and owner surrenders, and work to find new homes for them. We do it because we care about companion animals, and want them to have the best life possible in a responsible, loving home.

We appreciate donations, and with more funds, we can save more animals. We'd also love more volunteers and foster homes. Toys, walking dogs, whatever you can do to help would be appreciated!
