My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Enzo and his seven siblings had a challenging start to life. Their mother passed away, and when found they were on the brink of heatstroke. Fortunately, they were rescued in time and every effort has been made to provide them with a better life filled with love.

Enzo is now discovering his foster's world with joyous puppy enthusiasm. He is affectionate and playful, craving attention and hugs. Eating, romping and snuggling is what he does best and he rocks at all three!

Enzo needs an active and loving family to share great adventures with. Perhaps you will find the friend you've been waiting for in this handsome pup. You have the power to change his life forever.

Enzo-1 is fostered in Chapala, Mexico, and may be adopted locally, in the United States or Canada.

The potential adopter is welcome to discuss the dog with the dog's foster home before proceeding with the adoption.

Dogs are fostered in Ajijic, Mexico, and can be adopted locally or in the United States or Canada. We fly dogs to Vancouver, Montreal, Toronto, Seattle, Portland, plus any other city we have a flight angel for.

More about this rescue

Bone Voyage is a non-profit rescue group created to send Mexican dogs north to better homes. We work with the local shelters and with people in the Lake Chapala area that have many street dogs in their care.

We also assist individuals that find street dogs and don’t know what to do with them. We are all volunteers working together to try to minimize the amount of homeless dogs in the area.
